Position Summary:

The System Administrator ( Robotics Application Support) III will work on a team to manage and support the Corporation’s enterprise robotics automation application infrastructure by monitoring system performance, striving to maintain a high level of system performance and a secure application environment. Under limited supervision, assist in the design and perform the installation, management and maintenance of enterprise robotics automation applications and related system updates.

Job Duties:

  • Maintain, monitor & support robotic automation application system performance and environments (production, test and development)
  • Document, and manage application installations, configurations, and security. Also assist in related design activities
  • Install, troubleshoot, maintain and monitor robotic processes at the server and desktop levels
  • Participate in the design of application support processes
  • Provide light development services and code troubleshooting of process automations
  • Conduct code reviews with project staff and manage source code controls
  • Support the technical needs of users
  • Identify, request and coordinate the application’s upgrades to the three environments and identified desktops
  • Adhere to and enforce WPC security policies
  • Assist with technology planning related to process automation
  • Provide on call support for process automation jobs

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise applications
  • 3+ years of experience with enterprise monitoring solutions
  • 3+ years of application development using .NET or other technologies
  • Experience with workflow and/or robotic automation technologies
  • Experience or training with Six Sigma, TQM or comparable process improvement methodology
  • Understanding of network topologies and devices
  • Experience with issue tracking systems
  • Proficient communication skills at all levels
  • Proficient time management skills
  • Ability to learn new technical concepts quickly and readily
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as on an individual, unsupervised basis
  • Physically able to perform all duties including lifting up to 50 lb.
