This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be a Training Specialist and product champion for a start-up client of ours. The Training Specialist will be responsible for collaboration on a training strategy to ensure their B2B clients are prepared to adopt and use its exciting software. You will be responsible for creating training plans and materials; and for scheduling training sessions around the US (either one on one or in group settings). Training plans will include a feedback mechanism to ensure trainee feedback is incorporated into future sessions.


  • Maintain a deep understanding of the products and features
  • Train and energize clients to ensure product adoption
  • Prepare training materials for individual or group training sessions
  • Assess individual and group training needs
  • Plan, prepare, and research lessons
  • Apply new technologies to deliver training and improve the learning experience for users
  • Evaluate user feedback and provide detailed feature requirements to Product Owner
  • Talk with customers to determine their needs and guide their efforts to achieve their goals using their software
  • Ability to learn software solutions quickly
  • Work closely with clients and guide them to solve existing problems and achieve their goals through use of our software
  • Create internal and customer status reports after training courses

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • 2+ years of software training experience
  • Experience writing training plans and associated use cases
  • Great understanding and enthusiasm for Agile development processes and ability to work and iterate quickly
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Uncompromising standards of quality in building and delivering technology solutions
  • Organized and detailed, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrate patience when working with clients to resolve outstanding issues
  • Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks and manage time effectively while practicing sound judgment
  • Some college or Bachelor’s preferred. Advanced degree a plus.
