Key Responsibilities

The Python Developer will be instrumental in building, scheduling, and executing the Python scripts needed to interact with the project management systems (REST API into JIRA & Confluence), the Tech Reporting database (a PostgreSQL database), and facilitate the import and export of related data between systems and end users. The Python Developer will use Python to perform the necessary calculations needed for the Tech Reporting site to display accurate information at the Executive, Program, and Team levels.

This position focuses primarily on developing Python scripts as back-end processes of an overall system, and will be a part of a fast paced team. The perfect candidate will have three or more years’ experience building Python scripts, interacting with PostgreSQL databases, and will have experience with REST API calls into JIRA and Confluence.

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related four-year degree
